Chef Jarrett Stieber has wrapped up brunch service at his Eat Me Speak Me pop-up. The final seatings were held on Sunday.
Stieber says the change will allow him and the rest of the EMSM crew to work on new projects for Sunday night dinners. “Gonna leave Sundays open for periodical collaborative events and weird ideas we have, one or two things a month,” the chef tells Eater Atlanta.
Stieber has operated Eat Me Speak Me out of The SOS Tiki Bar in Decatur since mid-April. The pop-up previously took over Candler Park diner Gato on weekends, but with a larger kitchen and The SOS’s beverage service, it is now offering hyper-local, hyper-seasonal small plates five nights a week: Wednesday through Sunday. Stieber and his team also provide EMSM-branded soups, salads, and sandwiches for daily consumption at the Chrome Yellow Trading Co. coffee shop in Old Fourth Ward.
