Already a destination for whole hog and Southern sides, B’s Cracklin’ Barbeque has added biscuits and cinnamon rolls to its repertoire. The Riverside smokehouse is now open for breakfast six days a week. B’s Cracklin’ announced the new morning service on Facebook.
The move comes after pitmaster Bryan Furman and wife Nikki hosted a couple of successful breakfast pop-ups at their restaurant. The menu includes biscuits paired with sausage, fried chicken, or sawmill gravy; cinnamon rolls; and brisket hash. Coffee, including nitro on tap, comes from Perc in Savannah.
The Furmans opened B’s Cracklin’ in September 2016, taking over the former Hottie Hawgs space at 2061 Main Street NW. It’s the second location for their barbecue joint, which they first opened in Savannah, in 2014.
B’s Cracklin’ breakfast hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
