Terminus City BBQ has landed a regular weekend pop-up at ASW Distillery. Top Chef alum Kevin Gillespie’s smokehouse side project is now serving at the Buckhead distillery every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. — or until the ‘cue runs out. Gillespie and ASW plan to run the pop-up through the end of the year, a spokesperson tells Eater Atlanta.
Gillespie, owner of Gunshow in Glenwood Park and Revival in Decatur, first gave Atlantans a taste of Terminus City back in July 2014. At the time, he was planning to open a brick-and-mortar barbecue joint, but those plans fell through. Over the last three years, the chef has run Terminus City as a catering and special-event operation.
Terminus City turns out smoked whole hog and traditional barbecue sides. Food will be served “just outside the distillery’s doors” at 199 Armour Drive NE. It will be paired with ASW whiskeys, cocktails, lawn games, and college football viewings once the season starts.
