Local health-food chain Kale Me Crazy is the latest restaurant announced for the forthcoming Larkin development. It’s the sixth dining tenant on board at The Larkin, which is expected to open at 519 Memorial Drive SE in Grant Park this fall.
“We are extremely excited to be opening Kale Me Crazy at Larkin,” franchisee Paul Lackey said in a prepared statement Thursday. “The Grant Park, Cabbagetown, East Atlanta, Reynoldstown, and Ormewood Park neighborhoods are explosive with new construction, and adults of all ages making their homes here. There is incredible diversity in this area and the people are so full of life and energy.”
Kale Me Crazy serves juices, smoothies, salads, and wraps. The chain currently operates nine locations across Atlanta and another in Cary, N.C. In addition to the forthcoming Grant Park outpost, Kale Me Crazy is working expansion to West Cobb with a second Marietta storefront, according to its website.
The Larkin mixed-use project is being developed by Paces Properties, the same firm behind Inman Park’s Krog Street Market. Kale Me Crazy will join Taqueria del Sol, Ramen Station, Full Commission, FirePit Pizza Tavern, and Grant Park Market at the development.
