The Garage, new brewery and taproom from Westside’s Monday Night Brewing, will officially debut with a grand-opening party on Saturday, September 23. The forthcoming facility will anchor West End’s Lee + White mixed-use development that will sit right next to the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail extension.
The Garage’s opening shindig will actually cover two days, Saturday and Sunday, and it will feature beer tastings, tours, live music, yard games, and food carts. Tickets are available online (the price doesn’t cover food but does get patrons a souvenir glass) and range from $30 standard admission to $60 VIP early access.
Monday Night is using the facility to focus on barrel-aging and souring. The lineup of beers available will include some of the brewery’s standards along with new, specialty selections.
Once it is fully up and running, the Lee + White development, located at the intersection of Lee and White streets, will be a booze paradise for BeltLine excursionists. Decatur-based Wild Heaven Beer and Banyan Roots Brewing Co., a new project focusing on sour brews, are also on board. A new outpost for Buckhead-based ASW Distillery will provide the whiskies. Golda Kombucha will serve kombucha, obviously. Beyond alcoholic beverages, the development will be home to Southern Aged Cheese, Doux South Pickles, and Honeysuckle Gelato.
The Garage’s grand-opening event will be 21-and-up on Saturday and family-friendly, with kids 12 and under receiving free admission, on Sunday.
