Gunshow is bringing in a big name for the next event in the restaurant’s “Hired Guns” series: Top Chef winner Kristen Kish. Kish will stop by to cook with the Gunshow crew on Sunday, September 10.
Kish won Top Chef Season 10, which aired on Bravo from November 2012 to February 2013. Since claiming victory in the ridiculously popular culinary-competition show, she has landed a gig co-hosting Travel Channel’s 36 Hours, a series that covers global dining. Kish will release her first cookbook in October. Her professional cooking experience includes time at Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin’s Sensing and James Beard award winner Barbara Lynch’s Stir in Boston.
With its Hired Guns series, Gunshow attracts renowned chefs from across the country to cook their own dishes in the Glenwood Park restaurant’s kitchen. Tickets for Kish’s dinner are $95, include souvenir menus autographed by Kish and Gunshow owner Kevin Gillespie, and will be available online this Thursday, August 10, at 8 a.m.
