Christmasy Pop-Up Bar Miracle on Monroe Returns to Atlanta This Holiday Season

Seasonal beverages to keep drinkers warm and toasty

A Christmasy cocktail in a Santa glass. Miracle on Monroe

New York-based, Christmas-themed bar pop-up Miracle on Monroe will return to Atlanta for a second straight year this November. Locally known as Miracle on Monroe, the temporary booze house plans to pour festive drinks Friday, November 24 — that’s the day after Thanksgiving — through Christmas Eve.

There’s no official word on the location, but last year the pop-up took over a Midtown space at 931 Monroe Drive NE, Suite C-106. It was adorned with kitschy Christmas and Hanukkah decor straight out of the 1950s and ’60s, throwback tunes pumped from a record player, and there was a beverage menu to match. A rotating roster of guest bartenders mixed up their own holiday concoctions once a week. Full details on this year’s version of the pop-up have not been released, but a similar experience can be expected.

Cocktails will be served in custom glassware, and select locations will offer the mugs, coupes, highballs, and rocks glasses for sale with 10 percent of proceeds going to Action Against Hunger. It isn’t clear if Miracle on Monroe will be selling its glassware.

New York’s original Miracle pop-up debuted in 2014. Last year, it was expanded to 15 cities around the country, and 50 cities are on board this year. Check out the beverage menu below.
