Donetto, the latest restaurant from the company behind Oak Steakhouse, Colletta, and O-Ku Sushi, will open this Friday, September 29, in Westside. It will be part of the Stockyards Atlanta development at 976 Brady Avenue NW, Suite 110.
The Indigo Road restaurant group first revealed plans for the project in January. Mike Perez, who has been working at Colletta in Alpharetta’s Avalon development, will oversee the kitchen as executive chef, and diners can expect Tuscan cuisine made with traditional Southern-American ingredients. Donetto’s menu is broken down into selections of antipasti, pastas, entrees, and a la carte dishes.
“I want to elevate what we do at Colletta with eight or nine pastas,” Perez previously told Atlanta Magazine, explaining his philosophy at the new restaurant. “I want to talk about the history of the pasta dishes and the folklore behind them. Bringing education to the table is a lot of fun.”
