Do You Want to Write for Eater Atlanta?

The site is looking to build up its team

Are you obsessed with the diverse and exciting dining and drinks scene in Atlanta? Do you have proven journalistic chops? There might just be a spot for you here at Eater Atlanta.

We’re currently seeking smart, enthusiastic writers and reporters with extensive knowledge of the city’s restaurant scene to contribute maps, neighborhood guides, and other stories on a freelance basis. We’re particularly looking to broaden Eater Atlanta’s neighborhood reach and bring authoritative, diverse voices to the site. Social media savvy and photography skills are always a plus. We’re also looking for individuals who are comfortable with learning new CMS/online publishing systems.

Is this you? Shoot Eater Atlanta a brief email here with the subject line “Eater Atlanta Contributor.” Include a brief paragraph about yourself, including relevant professional experience, along with a couple of previous writing samples (links are fine.) If you have a personal website, Twitter, and/or Instagram, links to those would be helpful as well. No childhood food memories, please — we’re more interested in the skills you bring to the table.

If you’re serious about getting started, include three pitches you think would work for the site. If we like what we see, we’ll be in touch quickly.
