Red Pepper Taqueria will open its third location in the recently shuttered Jefe’s Tacos & Taqueria space in Town Brookhaven. Jefe’s quietly closed its doors over the weekend.
A representative from Red Pepper Taqueria told Eater Atlanta on Monday, the restaurant plans to open in mid-March and will offer the same menu as its other two Atlanta locations in Buckhead and Decatur. Red Pepper Taqueria opened in Buckhead in 2011, with Decatur following a year later.
Chef Mimmo Alboumeh said via press release he is “thrilled to be a part of Town Brookhaven, and looks forward to serving his new neighbors and the surrounding community.”
Jefe’s Tacos & Tequila announced both its shutter after service Sunday and Red Pepper Taqueria’s intention to take over the space this past Saturday.
