Alabama barbecue brand Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q is opening its eighth Georgia location in the south metro Atlanta city of McDonough in Henry County. The restaurant will open on Tuesday, February 6 at 1480 Highway 20 West.

A public ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10:15 a.m. that morning with the Henry County Chamber of Commerce before the doors officially open.

Jim N’ Nick’s is known for using eastern Carolina vinegar and Alabama white sauces to dress its smoked and barbecued meats as well as for the brand’s signature cheese biscuits.

Other Georgia locations include restaurants in Acworth, Hiram, Smyrna, Cumming, Suwanee, Lawrenceville, and Conyers. Jim ‘N Nick’s also has locations in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and three in Denver, Colorado.

Jim N’ Nick’s was founded 32 years ago in Birmingham, Alabama by father and son duo Jim and Nick Pihakis.
