Residents of Fayetteville’s Pinewood Forest won’t need to drive to the nearest IHOP for pancakes in the morning. A second location of Pancake Social, the all-day breakfast restaurant from chef Anne Quatrano (Bacchanalia, Star Provisions, Floataway Cafe, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp) opening at Ponce City Market, will also open at the planned community 28 miles south of Atlanta next year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. Pinewood Forest, with its 25-acre village square, is located across from Georgia’s largest film production studio, Pinewood Movie Studios.
Quatrano is partnering in Pancake Social with restaurateurs Dan Jacobson (formerly of Chick-fil-A) and Steven Chan (Tin Drum Asian Kitchen), and Revelator director of retail (co-founder of Octane) Tony Riffel. Quatrano will serve as Pancake Social’s executive chef.

The menus at both locations will skew breakfast with a variety of pancakes, bowls, sandwiches, coffee, and fresh-pressed juices, likely using produce from Quatrano’s farm. Some pancakes on the menu will be of the savory variety. The Pinewood Forest restaurant will apparently serve eight types of pancakes — from sweet to savory.
An indoor-outdoor patio and coffee house is also planned for the 3500-square-foot Pinewood Forest location. The 150-seat Ponce City Market Pancake Social includes a coffee counter for to-go orders and a large patio.

Twelve restaurants are planned for Pinewood Forest’s 25-acre Village Square slated to open some time in 2019. Braise was announced earlier this year and will be joined by Hop City Craft Beer and its second restaurant Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar, and Honeysuckle Gelato in the town square.
