Hot on the heels of the release of his first cookbook, chef Todd Richards is planning to open a barbecue restaurant in Westview by the end of March, according to the myAJC.com.
He’s working with Jackmont Hospitality, the group behind Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer and One Flew South, two of Eater Atlanta’s top choices for dining at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. Richards is also the culinary director at Jackmont.
Richards opened Richard’s Southern Fried inside Krog Street Market in 2016. His critically acclaimed cookbook, Soul, was released in May 2018.
There aren’t many details about the eatery at this point, but look for some of the dishes Richards cooked at the now-closed Rolling Bones barbecue, according to the report. Also, the temporary name for the new spot is Anderson’s Barbecue.
