Bell Street Burritos on Peachtree Street in Brookwood Hills and on the Beltline in Old Fourth Ward are now serving breakfast on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Owner Matt Hinton wants to capitalize on the long breakfast lines at nearby restaurants, including R. Thomas’ Deluxe Grill next door to the Peachtree Street location.
“People have been asking us for breakfast burritos for years. We attempted it for a short period a few years ago, but the timing was bad,” Hinton tells Eater Atlanta. “It just so happens that I opened on the same day as “Snowmageddon” a few years ago, which proved to be a bad omen. We didn’t really get the word out, and it never took off. I shut it down pretty quickly. Now, I think the time is right.”
If Saturday proves successful, Hinton will likely add breakfast on weekdays.
Menu highlights include a breakfast burrito or quesadilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese, and either sausage or bacon and shrimp and jalapeño cheese grits topped with salsa fresco. Pair that breakfast burrito with a caffeine-charged nitro cold brew.

Hinton announced in July he was opening a fourth Bell Street Burritos in Tucker at 4053 Lawrenceville Highway. The new restaurant occupies the former El Tapatio Mexican restaurant and should open in early 2019.
In addition to Buckhead and Old Fourth Ward, Bell Street also has a location at Sweet Auburn Curb Market on Edgewood Avenue near downtown, which opened in 2010.
