Philadelphia-based gastropub and craft beer bar City Tap opens in the former Gordon Biersch space on Peachtree Street in Midtown early next year. This is the pub’s seventh outpost, joining locations in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Nashville.
City Tap offers over 60 beers on draft, including several German lagers and Belgian ales, as well as local beers from breweries like Monday Night Brewing, Orpheus Brewing, Wild Heaven Beer, and New Realm Brewing. Beers are meant to pair with the pub’s food, which ranges from hot wings to fancy, wood-fired pizzas from the pub’s brick oven.
