Food Network star Alton Brown named the Mule’s Jake’s Sloppy Slaw Burger his “favorite sloppy thing to eat,” saying if not eaten correctly, it “becomes a better-take-your-shirt-off kind of dish.” It’s also Brown’s go-to “Atlanta” burger — the one he heads out for when he’s back home in Marietta from filming.
Owners Sabra Wessel and Joseph Wood posted a plea to Facebook on Saturday, asking customers to help “Save the Mule” and assist them in finding a new home for the restaurant in Marietta. Commenters immediately began weighing in on where the pair should relocate to, including heading ITP to Peachtree Street.
