Grab tickets to Hattie B’s pop-up at SweetWater Brewing
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken will be popping up again in Atlanta, this time at SweetWater Brewery on Saturday, March 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets to the event. Ticket price includes two hot chicken sliders, fries, one beer, and a Hattie B’s koozie. $15 per person. Cowtippers to remain open indefinitely...for now
In the continuing saga of will it or won’t it close, What Now Atlanta is reporting the longtime Midtown restaurant will remain open...for now. How long Cowtippers will remain open, however, is still up in the air. A source close to the situation told Eater Atlanta Thursday, the restaurant remains in business indefinitely and is even planning a new menu which will return to traditional steakhouse dishes. 1600 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta. Ponce City Market’s Brezza Cucina announces new chef
Andrew Cacioppo is in as the executive chef of Brezza Cucina in Ponce City Market. He has been a sous chef for Brezza and acted as the restaurant’s general manager since 2015. Cacioppo has worked previously for Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio as well as at chef Ford Fry’s The Optimist. Brezza Cucina is owned by celebrity chef Jonathan Waxman. 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE. Freedom Farmers Market opens for spring
Freedom Farmers Market at the Carter Center returns in full on Saturday, March 3. The market will include flowers from 3 Porch Farms, cheeses from Decimal Place Farm, chickens from Grateful Pastures, Riverview Farms pork and beef as well as produce from local farms like Woodland Gardens Organic. Baked goods from Proof Bakeshop and caffeine from 1000 Faces Coffee will also be on hand. Wrecking Bar Brewpub chef Terry Koval is popping up in the restaurant tent.
