Missy and Kristin Koefod have released the renderings of their upcoming restaurant and cocktail bar The James Room. The couple, who also own the cocktail bitters and shrubs shop 18.21 Bitters in Ponce City Market, plan to open this spring at SPX Alley along the Eastside Beltline trail in the Old Fourth Ward.

The renderings show a cafe located in the front of The James Room. Missy Koefod told Eater Atlanta the aesthetic for the space was inspired by the cafes found in France and Italy. The all-day eatery will serve coffee, baked goods, and pastries in the morning and lunch and dinner later in the day. The cafe also plans to offer aperitivo cocktails and wine in the evenings.

As for the back lounge, think London cocktail bar with a heavy emphasis on cocktails; including classics and the creative originals for which the Koefod’s are known. The lounge will also offer dinner.
