The popular North Nashville pizza restaurant Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria’s expansion to Atlanta could be happening soon. The owners seem to have begun the permitting phase for the restaurant which will be located on 581 Metropolitan Parkway SW in Adair Park. This, according to their Facebook page.

Slim & Husky’s is owned by longtime friends Clinton Gray, Derrick Moore, and Emanuel Reed. The partners plan to tear down the existing structure on the corner of Metropolitan Parkway and Wells Street for a complete rebuild of the restaurant.

The pizzeria offers pizzas like the P.R.E.A.M. with white sauce, multiple cheeses, spinach, pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and red onions and a vegan pizza Ain’t Nothin’ But A ‘V’ Thang with bean ragu, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, and oven-roasted corn. Slim & Husky’s sources most of their ingredients locally and serves craft and local beers.

Eater Atlanta has reached out for further comment and an anticipated opening date which could be this summer.
