Take a Look at Heirloom Market BBQ’s Temporary Menu

The Cobb County barbecue restaurant reopens April 18 following a fire last weekend

Heirloom Market BBQ reopens tomorrow (Wednesday, April 18) at 11 a.m. following a fire on Friday night which temporarily closed the Cobb County barbecue restaurant. The blaze was contained to the smokehouse. Chefs and owners Cody Taylor and Jiyeon Lee will serve an abbreviated menu until further notice while they rebuild the outbuilding and await the arrival of two new smokers from Texas.

The couple and their staff have spent the last four days cleaning up and readjusting the fixed menu. Proving they can have a sense of humor about their fire ordeal, Taylor and Lee are calling the temporary menu “Up in Smoke”. A rotating board of daily specials will also be available with items like brisket or kalbi beef rib tacos or gochujang ribs.

The restaurant will remain open each day until the food runs out.

Taylor and Lee said in a prepared statement, “We have been overwhelmed by the support of our customers and barbeque brethren—both, die-hard groups of barbeque-loving people!! We are incredibly thankful for your support, and look forward to opening our doors tomorrow and serving you once again!”
