Fox Theatre’s super pricey, members only club opens soon
The Marquee Club will finally make its debut at the Fox Theatre on May 17, according to Curbed Atlanta. A $10 million expansion (the theater’s first in 90 years) took nearly two years to complete the 10,000-square-foot, members only (and uber pricey) club. Individual memberships range from $2700 to $6000—although, single day passes can be purchased based on the club’s availability. Apparently, prices vary. Those lucky enough to afford an annual membership can expect five bars on multiple levels, a rooftop terrace overlooking Peachtree, a dedicated elevator, and parking. [CurbedATL]
Utter “dilly dilly” while attending the Masters golf tournament, get thrown out
Budweiser fans attending the Masters golf tournament at Augusta National this week would be wise to keep from speaking the beer company’s latest catchphrase “dilly dilly”. Deadspin reports those uttering the phrase during the tournament will apparently be immediately escorted off the links. The catchphrase ran in a series of Game of Thrones-like commercials for Budweiser during last year’s football season. [Deadspin]
