Mission + Market officially opens for lunch and dinner on Monday, April 9. The restaurant, from former Murphy’s chef Ian Winslade, is located in Buckhead’s Three Alliance Center at the corner of Georgia 400 and Lenox Road.

Winslade, who announced his departure from Murphy’s in January after six years, has partnered with local restaurateur Jonathan Akly in the 5000-square-foot restaurant designed by Akly’s father, Tony, of Restaurant Consulting Groups, Inc.

Mission + Market features a 140-seat dining room, an 8-seat chefs counter, 16-seat bar, a lounge, and a wrap-around patio with city views which includes loungers, fire pits, ceiling fans, and heaters for chilly nights. Theres’s also a living moss wall and two 15-year-old ficus trees featured prominently in the restaurant.

Chef Ricky Navas (Storico Fresco) will serve as chef de cuisine alongside Winslade. Expect small plates like pickled oysters with lemon, cucumber, and Szechuan peppers or grilled Spanish octopus with hazelnut romesco, larger shared items like thin crust pizzas, and entrees of seared steelhead trout or fresh-made pastas.

At the bar, cocktails skew classic with a selection of local beers on tap while the dining room plans to focus on high-end and reserve wines.
