The Masters golf tournament officially tees off Thursday, April 5 at Augusta National. This year, 87 golfers (including four-time Masters champ Tiger Woods) are vying for the coveted green jacket and the honor of selecting the meal served at next year’s champions dinner.
For those not lucky enough to nab tickets to any of the four rounds of golf, here’s a handy guide to eight bars and restaurants bringing the golf action in Augusta to Atlanta.
Butcher & Brew
This downtown Alpharetta gastro pub and sports bar is tuning into the Masters beginning Thursday and is serving griddled pimento cheese sandwiches on sourdough alongside their selection of craft and local beers. 3 South Main Street, Alpharetta.
Live! at Battery ATL
Tavern at Sports & Social is airing the Masters tournament starting Thursday on their 30-foot big screen. Get in on the action with the bar’s golf simulator. 825 Battery Avenue SE #610, Atlanta.
City Pharmacy
City Pharmacy, located in historic downtown Covington, is really getting into the spirit of the tournament with cocktails such as the julep-like green jacket with gin and mint. There’s pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches being served throughout the tournament, too. Oyster happy hour continues as usual here with $1 oysters and $3 SweetWaters. 1105 Church Street, Covington.

Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar
This venerable Virginia-Highland bar is serving Masters food and drinks specials throughout the tournament like pimento cheese, egg salad sandwiches, and barbecue. UrbanTree Cidery
The Berkeley Park-based cidery in Westside is tuning into the Masters Thursday through Sunday and will be offering golf-themed cocktails from the bar like the Bobby Jones in addition to their other cocktails and ciders on tap. 1465 Howell Mill Road NW, Atlanta.
The Optimist
Chef Ford Fry’s Westside seafood spot has a putting green out back which will play host to its own golf tournament as well as a Masters viewing party on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The soiree will air the final round of tournament play on the big screen in addition to a putting contest where the prize is dinner for two at the restaurant. Limited food and drinks such as grilled shrimp hot dogs, deviled eggs, oysters, and punch are included in the ticket price. Tickets are $38 per person. 914 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta.
Hampton + Hudson
While usually a football and soccer bar, Hampton + Hudson in Inman Quarter is turning into Masters central during the final round of the tournament on Sunday, April 8.
