An Inside Look at Mission + Market, Now Open in Buckhead

Take a peek inside the new Three Alliance Center restaurant from chef Ian Winslade

Beth McKibben is the editor and staff reporter for Eater Atlanta and has been covering food and cocktails locally and regionally for 12 years.

Mission + Market is certified open at Three Alliance Center in Buckhead. The restaurant, from former Murphy’s chef Ian Winslade and local restaurateur Jonathan Akly, is serving lunch and dinner only at the moment. Saturday brunch is planned for later in April. Chef Ricky Navas (Storico Fresco) has been tapped as Winslade’s chef de cuisine.

The design of the 5000-square-foot restaurant by Akly’s father, Tony, of Restaurant Consulting Groups, Inc., is befitting of Buckhead’s financial district and the daily business of wining and dining big money clients. A 140-seat dining room is bathed in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows which surround it and features plenty of clean lines, varying shades of blue and dark wood, black leather, and velvet banquettes.
