The Hattie B’s Hot Chicken sign is officially up in Little Five Points. And, even local restauranteurs and chefs seem excited about the Nashville-based hot chicken chain’s Atlanta debut in June.
Hattie B’s is likely the city’s most talked about—and anticipated—restaurant opening of the last year.
Wrecking Bar Brewpub chef Terry Koval snapped an Instagram pic of the sign being lifted up on a crane Thursday morning. The brewpub is Hattie B’s neighbor across the street.
Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q co-owner Justin Fox is excited about the barbecue joint’s newest neighbor, too—capturing the sign being placed upon its perch in the rain along Moreland Avenue yesterday.

Hattie B’s is currently hiring in Atlanta. The restaurant posted a Craigslist ad earlier this month seeking a “few more back of house and front of house positions.”
A representative for Hattie B’s is still confident the restaurant will open in mid-to late-June.
