Popular food truck Cousins Maine Lobster’s brick-and-mortar outpost is now open at Lenox Square Mall.
In addition to food truck favorites like lobster rolls, lobster bisque, and lobster tots, the new space will offer new menu items including a lobster grilled cheese, lobster BLT, Maine whole belly fried clams, and a Maine harvest salad.

The decisions to add an Atlanta location or set up shop in Lenox were anything but arbitrary. “We’ve had incredible lines everywhere we go,” says Tony Harrison, owner and operator of Atlanta’s franchises. “The fact that we’ve been voted the number one food truck is a testament to the product and the brand. It speaks for itself and kind of sells itself, to be honest with you.”
Part of that comes from their prices. Cousins sells Maine and Connecticut-style rolls for $17.50, which is remarkably lower than other lobster rolls in the area. “We have the highest quality Maine lobster you can get,” Harrison says. “It’s the best product at the best price in Metro Atlanta.”

Cousins Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis founded the first Cousins truck in California in 2012. The duo is best known for winning a $55,000 investment from Barbara Corcoran on ABC’s Shark Tank two years later.
Harrison, a businessman with extensive experience at Proctor & Gamble, happened to watch that same episode. He immediately contacted them and asked if they’d thought about bringing trucks to Atlanta, and in May 2015, the first Cousins truck debuted in Atlanta. Harrison now manages four Cousins trucks and will helm the Lenox shop.
Harrison is aware of Lenox’s potential drawback, but the value of a permanent location can’t be denied. “Parking is always a challenge at Lenox Mall, but at the same time Lenox Mall arguably is the most high-profile mall in Metro Atlanta and certainly over time has maintained its standing as a destination,” Harrison says. “As long as people know we’re here, we’ll be fine.”
