Origin Market Is Relocating Again

This is their second move this year

Origin Market and Cafe reopens August 6 at 117 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in south Downtown Facebook

Origin Market, formerly R & R Produce, is leaving its shared space at Underground Atlanta’s Post-Office CoWork, What Now Atlanta reports. They’ll re-open in Downtown’s Healey Building at 57 Forsyth Street NW as soon as the new space is ready.

This marks Origin’s second move since leaving the Georgia Building Authority’s 2 Peachtree Street property in November 2017. Before 2 Peachtree’s ownership changed, R & R Produce founders Luke and Leti Reid occupied the space since opening in 1993.

The Reids shared Post-Office with owner Michelle Grant’s coffee shop and announced their sudden departure on Origin’s Facebook page. Their last day of business at Post-Office was June 1.

Origin offered groceries and grab-and-go food during the week for Downtown office, hotel, and hospitality workers. The market provided fresh fruits, vegetables, and daily made soups and sandwiches in an area which otherwise lacks easy access to a major grocery store or farmers market.

Eater Atlanta has reached out to Origin Market for comment.
