OTP feline fanatics can soon satisfy their cat and caffeine fixes when the second Java Cats Cafe opens Friday, July 6 at 85 Atlanta Street in Marietta. Owner Hadyn Hilton announced the kitty cafe’s grand opening on Instagram.

Those who contributed to Java Cats Cafe-Marietta’s GoFundMe, helped with construction, or donated supplies and furniture, however, will get an exclusive preview of the new space on July 5. It’s Hilton’s way of saying thank you to her supporters. For those hoping to grab one of the hour-long time slots during Friday’s grand opening, Hilton highly suggests making a reservation.

Unlike the original Grant Park outpost on Memorial Drive, the Marietta cafe plans to serve beer and wine in addition to Ebrik coffee beverages and pastries.

Java Cats patrons are encouraged to reserve an hour-long time slot online prior to arriving at the cafe. Up to 20 cats reside at the cafe at any given time and are all up for adoption.

Hilton opened her first—and Atlanta’s first—cat cafe last March.
