The health-conscious—an super instagrammable—restaurant Flower Child is opening at Shops Around Lenox in Buckhead on July 11. A second metro Atlanta location opens this fall at the City Springs development in Sandy Springs. Both openings are the first part of the West Coast restaurant chain’s eastward expansion plan.
Much like Upbeet on Howell Mill Road and Recess at Krog Street Market, the menu at Flower Child focuses on grain, protein, and vegetable bowls, wraps, and salads. Most dishes cater to people living gluten free, paleo, vegetarian, and vegan lifestyles.
The 5000-square-foot Buckhead location seats 120 people and will include a patio and to-go counter in addition to its indoor seating. Expect dishes like avocado “hummus”, Vietnamese crunch with greens, quinoa, peppers, and cashews, and Madras curry with potatoes, carrots, green beans, onions, garam masala, and coconut on the menu. Diners can add tofu or a meat protein to any bowl or plate. A kids menu is also available
Daily-made lemonades, Atlanta’s Golda Kombucha, and local beers on tap are listed among the beverage offerings at Flower Child.
