Oprah fans can now add one more item to their list of favorite things to buy, a meal at True Food Kitchen. And, that includes her favorite salad and cocktail, too. Media mogul, movie star, and personal life coach Oprah Winfrey has officially invested a few of her billions into the health-conscious restaurant chain. True Food Kitchen has 23 locations throughout the nation, including one in Buckhead at Lenox Square.
The restaurant focuses on keeping its dishes as clean and natural as possible. In other words, nothing is drenched in butter, over-seasoned, or fried within an inch of its life.
According to a recent press release, Oprah’s go-to order at True Food Kitchen is the organic Tuscan kale salad and a Thai grapefruit martini. The combo will burn a $23 hole (without tax) in the wallet.
Not only is Oprah a major investor but she is now on the restaurant’s board of directors, too. What this all means for the future of the brand is uncertain. But, anything Oprah touches pretty much turns to platinum.
