Plus, updates on Manny’s Grant Park Pub and Butter & Cream ice cream shop opens on the BeltLine

Facebook

DECATUR: It looks like Italian coffee shop Bar Crema is indeed returning to the Pinewood. Bar Crema put out a call for baristas on Facebook and Instagram over the weekend. The status reads, “Coming soon . We’re on the lookout for talented servers and baristas at our new home at @pinewoodtr.” The photo shows the Pinewood bar in the background. No word yet on whether the coffee shop will incorporate part of the restaurant’s expanded dining room as a separate entity or if something else is planned in terms of coffee service at the Pinewood. Eater Atlanta is working to get more details. Bar Crema closed along with its adjacent Italian restaurant Bar Americano in April. [Facebook]

GRANT PARK: Progress is being made on Manuel Maloof’s (grandson of Manuel Maloof, Sr of Manuel’s Tavern) neighborhood bar Manny’s at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Boulevard in Grant Park. The restaurant was slated to open earlier this spring. Photos posted periodically on the restaurant’s Facebook page show the construction progress. The Pub will cater to families and sports fans with televisions, a patio, and small game room with darts. Expect a lengthy wine list, more than 20 beers on draft, and cocktails like Moscow Mule slushies. [Facebook]

OLD FOURTH WARD: Update, July 30, 4:30 p.m.: Ice cream shop Butter & Cream posted another message to Instagram Monday afternoon stating they are now open at Studioplex on the BeltLine. This, after teasing Instagram followers earlier in the day saying the third location is “SO close” to opening and to “stay tuned”. Butter & Cream is located at 659 Auburn Avenue NE at StudioPlex between Irwin and Krog Streets in the Old Fourth Ward. [Instagram]
