WESTSIDE: Westside Provisions District (WSPD) is getting two more restaurants in the coming year. The first from Tal Baum, owner of Ponce City Market’s Bellina Alimentari, and an unnamed restaurant from the owners of Storico Fresco in Buckhead, Atlanta Magazine reports. Baum’s restaurant Aziza is going in underneath Marcel and plans to focus its menu on Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant and its menu pay homage to Baum’s upbringing and her family in Israel. She is also opening a more casual Israeli restaurant called Rina in the Ford Factory Lofts next spring. The unnamed Storico Fresco restaurant plans to occupy the former Little Bacch space. It’s food and wine menu will be similar to Storico with a focus on Roman dishes. The restaurant should open next year. [ATLMag]
PONCEY-HIGHLAND: Bazati, a multi-level restaurant, bar, and market, plans to open by the end of July next to New Realm Brewing on the Beltline, What Now Atlanta and the AJC report. Bazati includes the Parisian-style restaurant Brasserie on the bottom floor serving classic French dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a rooftop, open-air bar called Estrella. Its menu is comprised of Latin cocktails and sparkling wine. There is also what appears to be a wine shop named Amphora located in the building. [WNA/AJC]
