“Reimagined” Watershed finally launches lunch
The “reimagined” Southern restaurant Watershed on Peachtree Street in Brookwood Hills has finally launched lunch after reopening three months ago under new owner, chef Matt Marcus. Diners can expect a “quirky-meets-casual spin” on the mid-day meal like fried green tomatoes with crab ravigote sauce, a beef heart reuben on marbled rye, and a Southern bento box consisting of the restaurant’s fried chicken (which once used Edna Lewis’ recipe), barbecue pork, macaroni salad, greens, and a deviled egg. Lunch is served Tuesday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ponce City Market bar named best in the country
The website Thrillist.com says the South African restaurant Biltong Bar inside the Ponce City Market food hall is one of the best 21 bars in the country. The pub praises the Biltong’s “unorthodox” celery sour made with London dry gin, pineapple, celery, lemon, vanilla, and Greek yogurt. There’s also a nod to the Un-Fuck Your Day cocktail consisting of absinthe, rye, brandy, and pineapple. A second location of Biltong Bar is set to open this fall at Shops Buckhead. [THRILLIST]

The restaurant posted to Instagram, “Our kitchen is training for our dinner opening — details coming soon! We are sorry for any inconvenience, and we’ll be back in action tomorrow morning!”
