Former Saltyard executive chef Nick Leahy just released the renderings for his new French restaurant Aix and adjoining wine bar Tin Tin opening at the Stockyards in Westside this November. The restaurant and wine bar will join neighbors Donetto and The Painted Duck already open at the complex on Brady Avenue located across from chef Steven Satterfield’s Miller Union.
The renderings don’t provide much in the way of concrete details, but it seems the dining room at Aix features a bar and a nook with banquet seating near the entrance to the restaurant. There’s also a private wine room with seating for up to ten people.

The adjoining wine bar Tin Tin features a small, wrap-around bar as well as outdoor seating on its patio.

Tin Tin will serve small, shared plates like cheeses, crudo, and olives and mainly French wines on its menu. Leahy is planning southern French dishes inspired by his family roots in the region such as bouillabaisse (fish stew) and a salmon crudo with preserved lemon, dill, capers, and crème fraîche for the menu at Aix. The restaurant and wine bar share a kitchen.
