Lunch service finally begins this Saturday, September 1 starting at 11 a.m. at Restaurant Holmes in Alpharetta. The restaurant, lead by chef Taylor Neary (Marcel, St. Cecilia), opened for dinner and drinks in the historic Jones House as part of the revamped Alpharetta City Center last month.
The lunch menu seems to be an abbreviated and slightly reconfigured list of the dinner offerings at Restaurant Holmes. Dishes lean on the lighter side and include the frisée and pea salad consisting of lady peas and pink eye peas dressed in yuzu vinaigrette and the smoked pork belly with poblano peppers, pineapple, and avocado. But, there’s also a fried chicken sandwich, a lobster burrito, and a cheeseburger for anyone seeking a little more heft to their midday meal. Vanilla soft serve and olive oil cake with pineapple jam are listed among the restaurant’s lunchtime dessert options.
Lunch is offered Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
