Chef Guy Wong’s Miso Ko sushi kiosk in Ponce City Market’s central food hall is opening next Saturday, September 8 at 11 a.m. The ten-seat sushi counter is located across from Bitlong Bar and next door to Wong’s ramen shop Ton Ton on the first floor of the market. The opening of Miso Ko finally fills a food void at the market, which offers everything from ramen to fried chicken at its many stalls, but no raw fish.
Miso Ko’s menu features made-to-order sashimi, nigiri, makimono, and a variety of specialty rolls. Wong is also planning to serve freshwater eel, octopus, squid, and soft shell crab along with sweet tofu and salads. Grab-and-go items can be ordered at the kiosk’s to-go counter.
In addition to Miso Ko and Ton Ton at the market, Wong also owns Vietnamese restaurant Le Fat on Atlanta’s Westside.
Open Monday – Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
