Hello Kitty’s Cafe Truck Rolls Into Town Soon with Sweet Treats

Plus, a new restaurant joins Marietta’s upcoming food hall and Peachtree Corners is getting a restaurant with a dog-friendly patio

ATLANTIC STATION: The Hello Kitty cafe truck is back in town on August 18 doling out treats and non-edible Hello Kitty swag. Aficionados of the perpetual third grader can snack on an enormous Hello Kitty chef cookie or a lunch box filled with confetti popcorn along with petit fours, macarons, and bottled water. The truck will be parked near Atlantic Station’s Central Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. [OFFICIAL]

MARIETTA: The new food hall, Marietta Square Market, has landed itself another restaurant. Thai street food restaurant Shai-Karr is lucky number 13 in the market. Shai-Karr joins restaurants like Forno wood-fired pizza, BullGogi Korean, Tiny Bubbles Bubble Tea, Grand Champion BBQ, and Street Taco in the food hall. Marietta Square Market should open this fall. PEACHTREE CORNERS: The California-based Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is opening its first Georgia location next spring. The restaurant, located at 5200 Peachtree Parkway, offers a pretty sizable menu with offerings ranging from pizza and burgers to kung pao chicken and fish tacos. Lazy Dog will include a dog-friendly patio, outdoor fire pit, and lounge and be open for lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends. [OFFICIAL]
