Reformation Brewery’s second location is now open on Elm Street in downtown Woodstock. The new brewery is a little over a mile away from the original outpost on Arnold Mill Way. Reformation’s new 6,000-square-foot space in the heart of Woodstock is home to the brewery’s research and development facility, a taproom with two bars, a deck, and a beer garden.
The grand opening won’t take place until Saturday, October 6. CEO and cofounder Spencer Nix says they need time to produce more beer for the event. Until then, a limited selection of beers are available for purchase on tap or in six packs; including the session lager 95 Munich and a citra and amarillo, dry-hopped, light lager called JOGR the Juicy.
Reformation plans to host game and open mic nights, yoga classes, and a book club at its downtown Woodstock facilty. Zach Kell’s Canton-based Southern restaurant Queenie’s will eventually serve food in an adjacent space next door to the brewery.
The original brewery location on Arnold Mill Way, renamed the Foundry, is still available for private events.
Downtown Woodstock hours: Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
