City officials extending hours at Atlanta bars during Super Bowl week

The Atlanta City Council unanimously passed the “Pour until Four” measure last month in preparation for the Super Bowl in February. ICYMI, Atlanta will host the Super Bowl on February 3, 2019. According to a report by WSB-TV, City of Atlanta officials are preparing for massive crowds invading downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods by extending the sale of alcohol at bars from 2:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. that week. What could possibly go wrong, right? Bars in downtown Atlanta and neighborhoods like Castleberry Hill expect business to be brisk and busy throughout that week. Three Heart Roastery grand opening this Saturday

Three Heart Roastery, the Beltline-facing coffee shop from chef Nhan Le (8ARM, Octopus Bar), is throwing a grand opening party on Saturday, September 15. The shop announced the soiree on Instagram. In addition to frozen watermelon snow, Three Heart will finally begin selling those beignets they’ve got listed on their menu The shop’s walk-up window is located just off the trail in the back corner of Paris on Ponce on Ponce de Leon Place behind 8ARM. Pin and Proper might have its liquor license

Pin and Proper, the Grant Park bar combining football, bowling, and corn hole into a game called pinfall, may have acquired their liquor license, according to Facebook. The bar is located behind Buteco in the Beacon on Grant Street. [Facebook]

A brewpub is opening at Lee + White in West End

Best End Brewpub plans to open by early 2019 at Lee + White in West End, according to What Now Atlanta. Much like New Realm Brewing in Poncey-Highland, the 17,500-square-foot brewpub will contain a brewery and a restaurant seating up to 200 people. The restaurant also features a chefs table. Best End joins Monday Night Brewing and Cultured South already open at the complex. The second locations of Wild Heaven Beer and ASW Distillery are slated to open later this year. [WNA]
