8ARM on Ponce de Leon Avenue is no longer serving coffee and breakfast on weekday mornings, according to Facebook and Instagram. The restaurant is shifting morning operations to its new coffee shop 3heart Roastery on the Eastside Beltline. The shop’s walk-up window is located just off the trail in the back corner of Paris on Ponce on Ponce de Leon Place behind 8ARM. The restaurant is now only open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. and brunch on the weekends from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. 8ARM is still closed on Mondays.

The cafe portion of 8ARM is about to undergo renovations in the coming weeks. It’s unclear what its new intended purpose will be in the future. But, prior to enclosing the outdoor bar to keep out the elements, the coffee cafe was refashioned on cold evenings into an intimate, candlelit cocktail bar.
Is the cafe becoming 8ARM’s indoor bar? Perhaps a wine bar showcasing general manager Joshua Fryer’s concentrated list of wines and fortified selections of vermouth, sherry, and Madeira? Time will tell.
Eater Atlanta has reached out for more information regarding the cafe renovation.
