After a brief hiatus this summer, chef Anne Quatrano’s Little Star Provisions at Westside Provisions District (WSPD) has reopened. The sandwich shop once attached to Star Provisions prior to its move to Ellsworth Industrial is back with a fresh menu from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all-day breakfast, bowls, and sandwiches.
Popular sandwiches such as the eggplant banh mi and shrimp po’boy made the new menu along with the pork tonkatsu and a pastrami reuben. Breakfast leans grab-and-go with items like overnight oats and fruit, ham, ricotta and preserves toast, and a ham and cheese croissant.
For those who remember the small coffee shop just outside the original WSPD Star Provisions run by the ever-cheerful Enrico Leone, he’s back running the coffee program at Little Star.
Quatrano made it clear when she announced moving Bacchanalia and Star Provisions from WSPD last April she was still “dedicated” to her longtime regulars and supporters there. Little Star’s return to the complex is good news for those who live, work, shop, or travel through the area in need of a quick bite on-the-go.
