Sports legend Shaquille O’Neal — aka Shaq — is officially getting in on the Super Bowl action in Atlanta. The former basketball player and current sports commentator is completely taking over Live! At Battery Atlanta in Cobb County on Friday, February 1 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., during Super Bowl weekend with an adults-only carnival, complete with a Waffle House, Krispy Kreme, DJs, and Cirque du Soleil performers.

Shaq’s Fun House aims to lure locals and football fans with an event that promises to be equal parts carnival, music festival, and circus.

The Fun House boasts an interesting line up with appearances from the man himself, Atlanta natives Lil Jon and rap group Migos along with T-Pain and celebrity DJ Diplo. There will even be a performance by Cirque du Soleil.

It isn’t cheap — current ticket pricing ranges from $249 on the lower end to $1199 for an all-out VIP ticket. All ticket purchases include access to the bar, as well as food catered by STK Steakhouse, Papa Johns, High Road Craft Ice Cream, Krispy Kreme and a few others restaurants. O’Neal owns the historic (and 24-hour) Krispy Kreme on Ponce De Leon Avenue in Midtown.

Meanwhile, Waffle House will be running a special pop-up restaurant, decked out with their iconic booths and decor, where they’ll serve a chicken cheesesteak hashbrown bowl in honor of O’Neal. Those with VIP tickets get fresh sushi from chef Jason Liang’s Brush Izakaya in Decatur.

The event is 21 and up.
