ATL Taco, the Mexican restaurant and tequila bar owned by chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere, closed at Lenox Square, Tomorrow’s News Today reports. The Buckhead mall taco joint replaced the partner’s roast chicken restaurant, Bantam and Biddy, last March.

Both the customer review site Yelp and Facebook list ATL Taco as closed, and the restaurant’s website is no longer operational. The last Yelp review dates to Friday, September 6.

This isn’t the first time Doty and Gummere have closed or shifted their various restaurant concepts, which also includes Midtown American bistro the Federal and fast-casual chicken spot Chick-a-Biddy. In 2016, the Midtown Bantam and Biddy on Crescent Avenue became the Federal. An Alpharetta Bantam and Biddy opened at Avalon in 2014. It was converted to King Barbecue last summer and closed six months later.

In September, the partners announced they would take Bantam and Biddy to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. A full-service restaurant featuring a menu of the “greatest hits of Bantam” opens Wednesday, October 8, in the atrium of concourse C. Plans are currently in the works to convert Chick-a-Biddy into a Bantam and Biddy at Atlantic Station and to open a location on Amelia Island in Florida.

As of publication, the original Ansley Mall location remains the only Bantam and Biddy in Atlanta. There is also a Bantam and Biddy on Market Street in Chattanooga.
