A third metro Atlanta location of Jinya Ramen Bar opens Monday, November 11, at Alpharetta City Center. To celebrate its debut, the restaurant plans to give away free ramen to the first 50 people in the door at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day.
Jinya-Alpharetta includes a dining room and bar and a patio facing a shared courtyard with neighboring Restaurant Holmes and Citizen Soul.
The restaurant is known for taking a few liberties with traditional ramen broth recipes, like the tonkotsu black with pork chashu, fried onions, and garlic oil, the garlic tonkotsu broth ramen “cha cha cha” seasoned with fish powder, and a spicy creamy vegan ramen with tofu. In addition to ramen, Jinya also serves baos, edamame, rice bowls and curries, and poke tacos.
The LA-based ramen chain opened its first Georgia location in Sandy Springs in 2016, followed by a Buckhead restaurant at the Powers Ferry Square complex on Roswell Road one year later. A fourth location opens at Plaza on Ponce in Poncey-Highland soon. Jinya takes over suites 3 A, B, and C along North Highland Avenue in the back of the Plaza complex.
