Old Fourth Ward ice cream shop Queen of Cream and Revelator Coffee Company are partnering to open two shops over the next month in Buckhead: Coffee & Ice Cream at Lenox Square and Sweet Tooth Cafe at Phipps Plaza.
Coffee & Ice Cream, opening by the end of February, is similar to Queen of Cream’s original shop on Highland Avenue, serving 12 ice cream flavors, along with Revelator coffee, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, and milkshakes. The new shop also includes grab-and-go items like pre-made sundaes, dessert sauces and toppings, and boxes of Xocolatl caramels and chocolates. Ceramic ice cream bowls, books, enamel pins, and dessert and coffee-themed stationary are also available for purchase.
The “more romantic” Sweet Tooth Cafe at Phipps will offer a menu similar to Lenox Square but with plated desserts, more vegan options on its menu, and a larger sweets section that includes marshmallows, toffee, brittles, and gummy candies. Sweet Tooth Cafe opens in March, and hopes to capitalize on the pre- and post-movie crowds at AMC Phipps Plaza theatre, located inside the luxury mall.
A second location of Queen of Cream should open at Plaza on Ponce behind the Majestic Diner on Ponce de Leon Avenue in late March. Queen of Cream, owned by chef Cora Cotrim, joins LA import Jinya Ramen, and former Gunshow executive chef Joey Ward’s two new restaurants, Georgia Boy and Southern Belle, in the complex.
