When Pancake Social finally opens at Ponce City Market, the aptly named all-day breakfast restaurant from chef Anne Quatrano (Bacchanalia, Star Provisions, Floataway Cafe, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp) also plans to serve dinner a few nights a week. Could this mean there’s breakfast for dinner on the menu, too?
The North Avenue-facing restaurant, located next to Mountain High Outfitters, opens for breakfast daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer dinner and dessert, Thursday through Saturday until 9 p.m. Pancake Social should open in the “coming weeks”, according to the latest press release.
Evelyn Ling serves as executive chef for the restaurant. She moved to Atlanta in 2014 from The Greenbrier in West Virginia to work with Quatrano at Bacchanalia.
While pancakes are the focal point of the menu, expect to find porridges, toasts, sandwiches like a crispy chicken, and a burger listed. No other details were provided regarding the dinner menu. The bar will offer beer, wine, mimosas, and brunch cocktails as well as coffee throughout the day.
Quatrano is partnering in Pancake Social with restaurateurs Dan Jacobson (formerly of Chick-fil-A) and Steven Chan (Tin Drum Asian Kitchen), and Revelator coffee director of retail (co-founder of Octane) Tony Riffel.
