The 18,500-square-foot Marietta Square Market food hall opens Thursday, March 28 on North Marietta Parkway near the Cobb County city’s historic town square.
Marietta Square Market seems to resemble the set-up of Atlanta’s Krog Street Market, and includes 17 restaurants and food stalls, along with a central bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Most of the restaurants and small selection of retail shops plan to open on the market’s first day, according to the press release. Eater Atlanta reached out for a list of those restaurants.
Here’s the full list of restaurants slated to open at the food hall:
- Bread + Butter Bakery
- Cousin’s Maine Lobster
- D’Cuban Cafe
- BullGogi Korean
- Crème de la Crepe
- Forno Vero Pizza
- Four Fat Cows Creamery
- Grand Champion BBQ
- Just Loafin’ Cajun Cafe
- Lucky’s Burger & Brew
- Meat in the Middle
- Momosan Ramen
- Pita Mediterranean
- Shai Karr Eatery Thai Street Food
- Street Taco
- Tandoori Square
- Tiny Bubbles Tea Bar
The market and food hall, located in a converted warehouse behind the William Root House Museum and adjacent to the railroad tracks, is fashioned after an early 20th century train station. A trolley car from 1922 sits at the entrance to the market; the same type of streetcar which ran between Marietta and Atlanta until 1944.
Open Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
