Premium cigar lounge and cocktail bar Burn by Rocky Patel may be close to opening at Battery Atlanta in Cobb County. Burn, located diagonally across from Live! Sports & Social on Battery Avenue near SunTrust Park, posted an open call on Craigslist for bartenders, servers, and cooks.

Burn describes itself on the website as the “evolution in cigar lounges fashioned for those who enjoy fine cigars, premium spirits and delectable cuisine.” The luxe lounge is owned by premium cigar maker, former lawyer, and investor Rocky Patel, who began selling cigars in the 1990s before rebranding his company to assume his name and image.

Patel opened his first Burn lounge in Naples, Florida nearly a decade ago, followed by locations in Pittsburgh and Oklahoma City. All three cigar bars are dressed to the nines, decked out with private nooks and open spaces filled with leather chairs and sofas, a humidor, state-of-the-art ventilation systems, and plenty of champagne and cocktails at the bar.

Food should be offered at Burn-Atlanta. The Pittsburgh menu includes a couple salads, a handful of hoagie sandwiches, pizza, and several shared plates, such as charcuterie and pierogis.

Eater Atlanta reached out to Burn for more information and to ask for an expected opening date.
