The second location of Hodgepodge Coffeehouse opens Friday, April 19 at 1 Moreland Avenue in Reynoldstown, with a grand opening set for Saturday.
Unlike the original location up the road in East Atlanta, the Reynoldstown shop is much smaller — what owner Krystle Rodriguez dubs a “Hodgepodge express” at only 900-square-feet. She expects it to act as more of a grab-and-go location but, a ten-seat community table equipped with power outlets and two four-top tables are available inside. A six-seat laptop bar is also in the works and should be completed next week.
As for the menu, there’s a full selection of coffee and baked goods as well as bagels from Emerald City Bagel.
“Seven years ago, we were opening 720 [Moreland Avenue] and had no idea what direction this adventure was heading. I couldn’t even fathom the idea of another location,” Rodriguez tells Eater Atlanta. “But, we’ve had such amazing support from our community and the city, and we have such a phenomenal staff. We can’t wait to spread the love to the other side of I-20.”
A third Hodgepodge location opens in Summerhill on Hank Aaron Drive in 2021.
Monday - Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
