The Clermont Lounge celebrates Blondie and her 40-year career with a garden party

It’s hard to believe the Clermont’s most popular entertainer, Blondie, is set to celebrate her 40th anniversary with the club. The dubious vice den on Ponce de Leon in the basement of the Hotel Clermont heads up to the rooftop Sunday, April 28 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a garden party in honor of Blondie. Ford Fry’s Little Rey chicken al carbon restaurant eyes a late-May opening now

The prolific Atlanta restaurateur says it now looks like Piedmont Heights restaurant Little Rey will open in late May. The counter-service restaurant plans to serve wood-roasted chicken al carbon, tacos, and margaritas when it finally swings open the doors to the former Anchor Bar & Tattoo on Piedmont Avenue. Everything can be ordered for either dine-in or at the take-out window. [Official]

LLoyd’s Lounge & Restaurant now has a giant roadside sign on Dekalb Avenue

Those traveling down busy Dekalb Avenue in Inman Park won’t miss their turn for LLoyd’s Lounge any longer. The Dickey, located at 900 Dekalb Avenue, just installed a giant and unmistakable sign for the complex. Hell Yeah Gluten Free bakery owner Alejandra Luaces-Riera (and future Dickey neighbor) posted a photo of the sign on Facebook. The complex also include’s LLoyd’s Dekalb Athletic Club coffee shop next door. [Facebook]
